windmills... I thought this would be a boring day out. The ones you got ‘dragged' out on when you were a nipper. I also thought, at first, the €6.50 tour charge was a bit steep, I was [very] pleasantly surprised. This, had to be,...

On Saturday myself and Fionn took ourselves off from the mayhem and into town for a couple of hours to pick up a few last minute items needed before we head on holidays this weekend. He was in great form, we had our cafe stop which he relished, but as...

A shocking disappointment for me and my kids. After all the hype, this competes with Ratatouille as the worst movie Pixar has ever made. Boring...

One of the best beaches in the area. At low tide there are loads of rock pools, rocks and a clean sandy beach which disappears at high tide. Clean clear water but unfortunately no life guard nor toilet facilities.

This low priced hotel/hostel was recommended by a friend as being good for short stays. It fitted my needs perfectly and I will be using it as my base for any future trips to London.

I love finding something great almost on your doorstep that you've ignored for years. We finally took a trip to the Model Railway village last weekend and it was a resounding success. Kids, young and old will have some fun here. I've lost...

If you grew up in the 80's then you must have felt a pang when you heard they were making this. Yes, the original was cheesy as hell but it was also great fun. This is a pretty poor update but had enough to keep me watching to the end.

Standard tourist fare but not bad and amazing value. Fixed price menus great. Try the fondue, raclette or pelas to get a feel for local cheesy dishes. Side salads not great. You'll leave sated and stuffed.

Very busy italian-food place but very middle of the road. One good pizza (salami), one great one (calabrese), a poor green salad and poor italian 'garlic bread'. Good fast service tho and a total bargain, like most things here, compared to Ireland.
